We decided to order 2 of the Moroccan set meals and split between the 4 of us as we saw how much food was served to another couple the previous night. As we wanted to go to the festival, we asked how long it would take, and first were told 2 hours, but then another man told us 45 minutes, so we agreed. Well, it was more like the 2 hours originally told to us, as we only just were served the beginnings of the meal after waiting 1 ½ hours, but the company was great and we sipped on wine Diana had purchased at a grocery store in New Fes. After our feast, even 2 dinners was too much for us, we took a taxi to the festival area to find no music. Turns out this was a night off for the “free” concerts. Oh well, a little walk around the medina, and a purchase of sweets to take to Abdou’s family tomorrow.
