We luckily got a nice one because the person at a full hotel recommended we call the Ryad Ghita because she knew them. They first told Abdou that they were full, but when he told them they were recommended, there were magically two rooms available for two nights. We were told that the hotel was not far and Abdou obtained directions as we strolled through the medina. Finally a man escorted us there, but we figured we passed through most every alleyway in the medina to get there. Norm’s new rule of traveling: It’s not far means very far.
