n the afternoon, we took our flight to Bagan and when we landed drove to a pagoda to climb for the sunset view. It was breathtaking to see so many pagodas in a small area from the top. There are over 3000 dating back to 11-13th centuries. Only 4 are of sandstone here, the rest from brick. The Sandstone Mountains were 7 miles away. We had dinner at a family local restaurant called Phy Sone, where the husband cooks and the wife serves. We had curried prawns, curried river fish and fried vegetables.
