We took the train to Herculaneum today. This is another site that was destroyed by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. It is supposed to be smaller than Ponpeii, but it is more intact and we could have spent just as much time as Pompeii. They are still unearthing sites that have been built over in the past.
