We took the train to Florence today. We got in trouble by the ticket conductor for not having our ticket stamped at the station before boarding. No one had explained that to us and luckily, she took pity on us and decided not to fine us for our mistake. We arrived just in time for another taxi strike. Lucky for us, the hotel was a 10 minute walk and we not a big problem. We spent the afternoon just walking around the piazza’s and down to the Ponte Vecchio bridge and to the Medici Palace.
