We took a local bus along the Amalfi Coast to see the scenery. Amalfi has a cathedral built in 1000 AD still in use and the walls still have the original frescoes. In the afternoon we took another bus to Ravello which is a small town high in the hills overlooking the water. We visited Villa Cimbrone which is where Gretta Garbo used to stay to get away. On the way back to Amalfi, our bus driver took a detour for him to get a gelato cone. He did not offer us any!
