Then we walked back down to the mud pools and mom and Jeanine went in while dad sat on a bench and watched. It smelled really bad and Jeanine thought it felt gross and didn’t go in all the way. Mom did and she actually rubbed mud all over her body and face (you’re supposed to do that to get the healing properties of it). There was a shower but it was a disappointment- it didn’t work very well, so we still had mud and silt on us and our swim suits. We went back to the pizza restaurant and had a drink and relaxed and watched the water for a while, and then we made our way over to the dock and made the 6pm boat. It was actually a very fun day once we figured out the island and what there was to do on it. For dinner we ate at a restaurant right on the dock in Lipari- it was pretty good. It was a good day all in all.
