Then they rushed us over to the Forum where we were supposed to meet another tour guide. We’re going to come back tomorrow so we can actually walk around. Turns out our hour long tour only lasted 30 minutes and he, too, only walked a little way into the Forum and did not walk around the Palatine at all! What we could hear was great, but he did not use the microphone that sat around his neck and it was really hard to hear everything. When it was done we had a great time walking around the Forum and the Palatine along with the Palatine Museum where we saw lots of statues and parts of the original building that they had excavated.
