Started our day with a lovely Moroccan breakfast served on the roof patio with insane amounts of food that all tasted great. We had soup for breakfast along with many Moroccan delicacies. We took a walking tour of Fes today. We wandered through the narrow, winding streets to see Mosques, shops and small museums. You have to be careful because the goods are moved by donkey and the donkeys take control of the road when they walk. When they yell Balek you are supposed to get out of the way. You also had to watch your step. We had a great walk that eventually wound us back at the bottom of the Medina and near to our hotel. Fes has 9400 streets, walkways and shops throughout. We again, had plenty of walking exercise. Back to the hotel to clean up and rest for our trip to the music festival tonight. Oh yes, before returning to our hotel, we tried a banana and strawberry ice cream cone. It tasted a bit like bubble gum and was a nice break from the 33 degree heat.
