We toured Vienne today. This was a town created 200 years ago. It was very prosperous during Roman times and after the decline of the Roman Empire, it became the temporary residence of Constantine and Emperor Julian. Vienne has preserved its temple, forum, odium and circus still today. We took a mini-train up the mountain to a church with a fantastic view of the town and the river.
