We drove to Tzermiado which is the largest village here and followed the sign to the Kronio(Trapeza) Cave. We walked about a km to the cave up the hill from the street to the entrance. We had brought a small flashlight and ventured in a little, but decided we would need a full blown torch to explore any further. The cave had been used since the Neolithic period, 5000BC as a refuge, for burials, and later as a religious site.
