Ooh, La, La! I love Paris in the springtime, I love Paris every moment! We spent the entire day at the Louvre museum, enormous and inspiring. The amount of antiquities from Egypt and Greece may have outnumbered what we saw in those countries. We are not really sure exactly how many of the rooms we visited, but we covered a lot of ground and creativity. The Mona Lisa we could see from a distance so as not to see her creases, along with the Venus de Milo. There was an Ingres exhibition going on that we strolled through, as if there wasn’t enough for us to see. We were lucky that our hotel was so close to the Louvre. It was kind of hidden and old (the power went out in our room and the room of others and the front desk just said “it happens”.)
