Before traveling to Paris, we took a package of books and brochures we collected to the post office to mail home. Arriving back in the room with 45 minutes to finalize packing, we get a call from the local tour company that the taxi will arrive in 5 minutes as streets in the city were being closed for “manifestation”. Cindy rushed around like a chicken with her head cut off as she still had stuff all over the room, some things never change. Again, an entire personal bus for our transport. We know we have been enjoying all the local cuisines, but did not think we were expanding that much. Of course, there was not too much congestion and we arrived to the airport 3 hours ahead. Cindy was busy with postcards while Norm finished a book. A little sad to be leaving Greece, but we always feel this way when moving on, yet excited about the next destination. After we arrived at our hotel, we had a late dinner at “Le Souffle” restaurant and had Onion Soup (it is not called French Onion Soup), a nice mushroom soufflé and a chocolate soufflé for desert.
