At Aghios Yorgios we visited the quaint little Folk Museum which is housed in the D. Kasapakis residence built in 1800. After going back through the Ditka pass, we stopped at the Convent of Kera Kardiotissa, dedicated to the Nativity of the Virgin(Sept. 8 festival). The view from the courtyard was spectacular. The oldest part is the little church with still has wall-paintings from the 14th century and this time the door was open.
