Then we walked through a variety of art galleries at Kikar Square of micro calligraphy where the paintings are made from words/passages from the bible. According to Jewish mystics each Hebrew letter represents a secret code toward unification with God. We drove past areas that had used to be swampland but had been drained by planting Australian eucalyptus trees and re-routing the Jordan River in the 1950’s. They are now trying to reinstate the swamps as they found that not having them is affecting the quality of the water to the Sea of Galilee. We arrived in the evening to the Kibbutz hotel Kfar Giladi where we spent 2 nights.
