As it was Saturday and Shabbat, most everything was closed, but the art museum was open for a few hours, so we walked to the Tel Aviv Art Museum. It had wonderful exhibitions including Manashe, Impressionist art, a collection of 17th century paintings depicting bible scenes. When we went into the sculpture garden, we noticed a restaurant where we decided to have lunch. We noticed people who also brought their dog to the restaurant and proceeded to feed it beer from a glass. What a party. Then we continued through the art galleries until closing. A beautiful afternoon to walk back to the hotel, but before that, decided to watch the sunset from the beach over the Mediterranean Sea. Dinner was at a small Mexican restaurant which really had more Italian choices than Mexican, but all was good. They had advertisements for Mexican beers but said they could not get them in Israel.
