We spent the day taking it easy and sight seeing. We went to the war memorial on top of a high hill in Whangarei. We did a canopy board walk around the Kauri trees at A. H. Reed Park. The largest tree is hundreds of years old and extremely tall. We hiked to a small waterfall.
